This spring, the real estate market has seen a significant rise in momentum with more developers launching new projects and taking advantage of the typically heightened seasonal demand. March saw a remarkable increase in presale activity compared to the same period last year, with major launches attracting considerable buyer interest.

Overall, 11 new projects were introduced, releasing 1,552 units to the market—a more than threefold increase compared to March 2023. The new presale projects launched in March sold 416 units, resulting in a same-month absorption rate of 27%. In April, we forecasted 10 projects and just under 2,000 homes to come to market in Greater Vancouver.
